Senior Travel to Waiheke
With a Gold AT HOP you can travel on SeaLink Waiheke Island services for free*, as long as you are not the driver of a vehicle.
If you don’t have a Gold AT HOP card, are travelling prior to 9am weekdays, or if you’re the driver of a vehicle, then our senior fares apply.

Booking a sailing
We recommend that all Gold AT HOP cardholders make a booking in advance to ensure there is passenger availability on your preferred sailing time. Bookings can be made for sailings departing from 9am (weekdays) and anytime on the weekends and public holidays.
Boarding the ferry as a Gold AT HOP card holder
Gold AT HOP cardholders must ‘tag on’ and ‘tag off’ our ferries at each terminal using their Gold AT HOP card. Tag machines are located near the boarding ramps.
Times of travel
* Travel for free after 9am weekdays and all day on weekends and public holidays.
If you’re travelling on the 9am ferry, Gold AT HOP cards must not be ‘tagged on’ more than 10 minutes prior to departure.
