GBI return earlier - Friday 11th July
Due to the weather conditions the 2:00 pm from Tryphena to Hamer St will depart earlier.

If you are travelling today, please be at Tryphena by 12:00 pm, as the vessel is expected to arrive around 12:30 pm and intends to depart as soon as possible once the vessel arrives.

Pine Harbour

Due to adverse weather conditions, all Pine Harbour ferry services are cancelled for today. The 11.00am sailing from Pier 3, Auckland, will be the final departure.

Alternative transport has been arranged as follows:

Shuttle Services (Two 11-seat shuttles will be operating):

  • From Pine Harbour:
    11:40 am, 1:00 pm, 2:20 pm, 4:00 pm, 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, 8:30 pm, 10:30 pm

  • From Queens Wharf:
    12:20 pm, 1:40 pm, 6:40 pm, 7:40 pm, 9:10 pm, 11:10 pm

    Kiwi Coach Buses (Departing from Stop 1323 Commerce Street, Auckland): 
    3:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm

Please note: Some services may experience delays due to road conditions.

Pine Harbour Maintenance
Please note that from Monday 30 June to Monday 14 July, our vessel Clipper IV will be out of service for her annual maintenance. During this period, we will be operating a reduced three-vessel timetable, which means the following services below will not run:

From Pine Harbour: 7:20am, 8:40am, 4:20pm

From Auckland: 8:00am, 9:20am, 5:00pm

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding while we carry out this essential servicing.

GBI Port Fitzroy Winter Timetable Changes
Due to operational reasons, we have made the following changes to the Port Fitzroy sailings for the winter months.

The revised schedule for Port Fitzroy sailings is as follows:-

We will continue to keep the Tryphena DG sailings on the Tuesdays.

Tryphena DG sailings on Tue 3rd June, which is the Tuesday after the long weekend, will be moved to Wednesday 4th June.

Ferry check-in times

Waiheke Island & Great Barrier Island 

  • Check-in 30 minutes prior to departure to or from Waiheke Island
  • Check-in 60 minutes prior to departure to or from Great Barrier Island

Due to loading requirements, boarding will close 20 minutes prior to departure for vehicles and 15 minutes prior for foot passengers.

Please note: To get everyone loaded and ensure the ferry departs on time, we can’t guarantee passage if you’re running late.

Keeping the Hauraki Gulf Pest Free

Remember to ensure your vehicles are clean before arriving at our terminals as heavily soiled vehicles and machinery may be turned away from our vessels due to fear of spreading Kauri Die Back Disease to the Hauraki Gulf Islands.
