The Dangerous Good sailing on Tuesday 21st January at 7.30am ex Hamer St to Tryphena and return at 2pm ex Tryphena to Hamer St is cancelled due to weather conditions.

Wednesday 22nd January - GBI changes & Additional
On Wednesday 22nd January the sailings at 2.30pm ex Hamer St to Port Fitzroy and return 8.30pm ex Port Fitzroy to Hamer St will now be replaced as a Dangerous Good sailing and will now divert and depart at 2pm ex Hamer St to Tryphena and return at 8.30pm ex Tryphena to Hamer St.

We have added an additional sailing on Thursday 23rd January at 3pm ex Half Moon Bay to Tryphena and return at 8.30pm ex Tryphena to Half Moon Bay

Pine Harbour Cancelled - Tuesday 21st January
All Pine Harbour services are cancelled until further notice today
  • x1 -11 seater shuttle leaving Pine Harbour at 8 am
  • Bus replacement will leave Pine Harbour at 0900 to stop 1323 Commerce Street Auckland
  • Two shuttles will leave Pine Harbour at 1020 to Queens Wharf Auckland.

Timetable changes Jan 16 - Jan 19 2025

Please be advised due to extended operational changes caused by urgent maintenance, the following changes have been made to our timetable:

Thursday 16th:

SeaQuest reassigned to Island Navigator 1pm ex Hamer St and 7pm ex Tryphena.
Please note: passenger restriction of 85 for sailings to Great barrier island aboard our Seaquest vessel.

  • Additional sailing:1100 ex Hamer st and 12.15 ex Kennedy point
  • Great barrier island: ex Tryphena 10pm, diverted to arrive at Half moon bay at 2am
  • Cancelled sailings:
    ex Hamer st: 12.10pm
    ex HMB: 3pm
    ex KP: 2pm, 4.30pm

 Friday 17th:

  • SeaQuest reassigned to Island Navigator 7.30am ex Hamer St and 2pm ex Tryphena.
    Please note: passenger restriction of 85 for sailings to Great barrier island aboard our Seaquest vessel.

  • Additional ex Hamer st: 11am (dangerous goods sailing. pax limit max: 25)  / ex Kennedy point: 12.15pm 
  • Cancelled sailings:
    ex Hamer: 6.30am, 12.10pm, 3.50pm
    ex KP: 8.20am, 2pm, 5.40pm

Saturday 18th:

  • Whangaparapara sailing rescheduled to now depart: 7.30am / ex Whangaparapara: 2.30pm 
  • Rakino sailings: ex HMB: 9.15am / ex Rakino: 12pm 
  • Cancelled sailings:
  • ex Hamer street: 8am
  • ex Half moon bay: 10.30pm 
  • ex Kennedy point: 9.30am, 11.30am, 4.30pm

Sunday 19th

  • Whangaparapara sailing cancelled.

Ferry check-in times

Waiheke Island & Great Barrier Island 

  • Check-in 30 minutes prior to departure to or from Waiheke Island
  • Check-in 60 minutes prior to departure to or from Great Barrier Island

Due to loading requirements, boarding will close 20 minutes prior to departure for vehicles and 15 minutes prior for foot passengers.

Please note: To get everyone loaded and ensure the ferry departs on time, we can’t guarantee passage if you’re running late.

Keeping the Hauraki Gulf Pest Free

Remember to ensure your vehicles are clean before arriving at our terminals as heavily soiled vehicles and machinery may be turned away from our vessels due to fear of spreading Kauri Die Back Disease to the Hauraki Gulf Islands.

Travelling to Waiheke Island as a foot passenger on your Gold AT HOP card from Half Moon Bay or Wynyard Quarter? Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Please remember it is IMPORTANT that you 'tag on' when boarding and 'tag off' on arrival at your destination.
