Pine Harbour Service - Auckland Marathon

SeaLink will not be operating the Pine Harbour service this year for the Auckland Marathon.

Increased traffic at Wynyard Quarter

Due to the fuel line damage at marsden point there will be increased tanker movements through the Wynyard Quarter area (in particular along Beaumont Street) . This is likely to continue until Wednesday 27 September.

Auckland Marathon Disruptions 29 Oct 17

ASB Auckland Marathon 29 October

Due to road closures in the Wynyard Quarter area the following Waiheke sailings have been cancelled. 

Wynyard Quarter to Kennedy Point - 10:15am

Kennedy Point to Wynyard Quarter - 11:30am 

If you are travelling to Great Barrier Island you will need to check in no later than 6:30am.

Summer bookings open for Great Barrier Island

Great Barrier Island

Booking now up until 30 April 2018. To check sailing times or make a reservation book on the website or give us a call on 0800 732 546. If you're travelling with a vehicle and plan to load anything on your roof, or have bike racks on the back of your car that will make your vehicle taller than 1.75 metres or longer than 5 metres you will need to call us to book. We do transport, trucks, trailers, motorhomes and most other types of vehicles however these are not bookable online. 

Sailings are filling up fast , book now to avoid dissapointment.

Winter timetable changes - Wynyard Wharf

Please be aware our winter timetable changes on  25 August 2017. Sailing times are as follows for our City Sailings: 

Friday night

  • Departing from Wynyard Wharf to Kennedy Point: 7.30pm.
  • Departing Kennedy Point to Wynyard Wharf: 6pm, 8.30pm.  

Saturday & Sunday

  • Departing from Wynyard Wharf to Kennedy Point: 10:15am and 4:30pm
  • Departing Kennedy Point to Wynyard Wharf: 11:45am and 6pm

Ferry check-in times

Waiheke Island & Great Barrier Island 

  • Check-in 30 minutes prior to departure to or from Waiheke Island
  • Check-in 60 minutes prior to departure to or from Great Barrier Island

Please note: To get everyone loaded and ensure the ferry departs on time, we can’t guarantee passage if you’re running late; your spot may then be allocated to one of the standby vehicles.

We have scheduled sailings in our timetable for those travelling with dangerous goods (DG). These sailings are designated ‘non-smoking’.
